We implement military-grade Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) with JSON Web Tokens (JWT) and rotating cryptographic keys. Permissions are enforced at both the UI component level and the database query layer:
- Cashiers: Can only scan products, apply approved discount vouchers, and print receipts.
- Inventory Managers: Can adjust stock levels, initiate supplier purchase orders, and accept warehouse transfers.
- Directors & Owners: Access executive P&L analytics, audit employee action logs, and modify master system parameters.
